Comfy Paws was founded in 2019 by Marina Bogdanova, a then- high school junior studying Companion Animals at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School. Originally named "Aquamarina's Mobile Grooming", this salon travels to clients' houses to groom pets in the comfort of their own home. By 2022, a decision was made to rebrand the small business, renaming it and removing the classification to symbolize the desire and potential to grow into something more than a mobile-only business. Comfy Paws now provides dog walking, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting.

Comfy Paws' grooming service+ currently operates as a "house-call" service rather than a "mobile" one.  What's the difference? In our (and many clients') eyes, a MOBILE grooming service travels and grooms client pets in a specially equipped grooming van.  However, Comfy Paws operates without a van, instead entering the client's property to complete the groom inside their home (or in their yard if weather and other conditions permit). 

The future of Comfy Paws holds a lot of potential. The business is growing, with a recently added House Sitting service, and a plan to grow bigger while continuing to provide outstanding care for our clients. Eventually, we at Comfy Paws would like to obtain our own grooming van, and open a salon location with a doggy daycare option, retail, and even adoption!
